World Heritage Fraser Island tours
Fraser Island is the world’s largest sand island 123km long by 15km wide. It was world heritage listed in 1992. It is composed almost entirely of vegetation covered sand, with over 40 freshwater lakes and dense rainforest.

Colour Sands Walks and Tours
Read the legend on the coloured Sands. Starting from Phil Rogers Park, walk along the beach towards Double Island Point for a kilometre or so to these Majestic Coloured sand cliffs. Or you can take a half day tour, which will show them off in all their glory – and lots more.

Great Sandy Strait
A Stunning Aquatic playground the Great Sandy Straight is perfectly situated between Rainbow Beach, and Hervey Bay, protected by Fraser Island. Mangrove-lined shores, sandy tidal flats, protected by beaches and a maze of tidal creeks and islands are a future of the area. The serene waterways offer numerous locations providing safe anchorage and inviting further exploration. Stop at one of many islands for a picnic, go fishing, catch a feast of mud crabs or soak up the pure luxury of tranquil surroundings.

Rainforest Bush Walks and Drives
Rainbow Beach and Fraser Island offer walking tracks and drives. Depending on your fitness level there are many walking tracks.
There are some wonderful walks to Lake Poona through spectacular Rainforest. Allow 40 minutes walk to reach Lake Poona.
Lake Fresh Water is only accessible by 4WD, Tour or walking. Walking tracks start at the Bymien picnic area. The round trip from Rainbow Beach will take a full day and requires fitness
